AFTER BADLY blowing out his knee in Week 16, Peterson remains a huge question mark heading into 2012. Team trainer Eric Sugarman isn't sure that Peterson will be ready for Week 1. Unless something changes during the preseason, he isn't worth taking as an RB1.
Beanie WELLS CARDINALS RIGHT-KNEE SURGERY
THE ARTHROSCOPIC work done on Wells's knee in January was relatively minor, and signs point to his being recovered in time for Week 1. Wells has been dealing with lingering knee problems since 2010, however, and he has not played a full NFL season since '09.

AFTER MISSING his rookie year with a gruesome injury, Williams was running and making cuts by May. The team certainly thinks he'll be good to go; it declined to add a back during the off-season.
Kenny BRITT TITANS TORN RIGHT ACL, MCL
BRITT HAD unscheduled arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in May, but the team maintained that the operation would only set his recovery back a couple of weeks. The receiver is slated to be back by Week 1, but Britt's ability to make cuts and play at full speed will be in question when he takes the field again.
