Running Backs

Scouts agree that Richardson is the best back to come out of college since Adrian Peterson, who had 1,500-plus yards from scrimmage and 13 TDs in his rookie NFL season of 2007. Richardson will be an every-down back and the centerpiece of an offense with few weapons in the passing game. Don't be surprised if he ends the season among the top tier of running backs.

13 Steven JACKSON RAMS TIER: 2

AGE: 29 BYE WEEK: 9 AUCTION: $14

Jackson is a reliable ground-gainer (seven consecutive 1,000-yard seasons), and he'll catch enough passes out of the backfield to be valuable in PPR leagues. But he doesn't find the end zone nearly enough to be considered an elite back anymore. Combine that with the arrival of second-round pick Isaiah Pead, and Jackson should be downgraded to a low-level RB1 at best.
