Running Backs

[ON THE DECLINE] It was a sly move by Bill Belichick to sign the veteran back but one that offers very little for fantasy owners. The odds are that Addai's main role will be to pick up blitzes on passing downs, since tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez are usually running patterns. As a runner Addai doesn't offer much anymore. The yards and TDs have been sinking since 2009. Caution.

59 D.J. WARE GIANTS TIER: 6

AGE: 27 BYE WEEK: 11 AUCTION: $0

Ware has good size (6' 0", 225 pounds) and enough skill for the Giants to have kept him around for six years. He started to perform last season, particularly as a third-down receiving option. But that's the most he'll be in 2012; unless an injury to Ahmad Bradshaw or first-round rookie David Wilson ushers him into the lineup, D.J. doesn't have us falling in love.
