[ON THE RISE] Minnesota's coaches have high hopes for its second-year tight end, who saw more reps than Visanthe Shiancoe in the final three games of 2011. Now Rudolph must contend with another veteran—Seattle castoff John Carlson. Give Rudolph the slight edge, but consider neither player a fantasy force; there are too few opportunities for a run-first team with two pass-catching tight ends.

19 Martellus BENNETT GIANTS TIER: 5

AGE: 25 BYE WEEK: 11 AUCTION: $0

The 6' 6", 270-pound Bennett has tantalized and annoyed since Dallas made him a second-rounder in 2008. He hasn't scored since that year, but after signing with the G-men, he no longer will have to play second fiddle to Jason Witten. Bennett will now start for an offense that features the tight ends. The downside: He could be used more for his plus blocking skills than his receiving ones.
