KEY RETURNEES

NB AHMAD DIXON JUNIOR

He runs the 40 in 4.39 and had 89 tackles, a pick and a team-high three fumble recoveries last year. Dixon, whom Art Briles calls "a premier player," will have an increased leadership role as the nickelback again this year in Baylor's 4-2-5 defense.

CB K.J. MORTON JUNIOR

A juco transfer from California's College of the Sequoias, Morton was quickly pressed into service last season because of injuries and started the final 11 games. He had 75 tackles and led the team with four interceptions, earning All--Big 12 honorable mention.
