INDELIBLE MOMENT On the way to the first BCS bowl in Kansas history, in 2007, Todd Reesing led a 76--39 rout of Nebraska with a school-record six TD passes. It is the most points ever scored by any team against the Huskers.
COLLEGE KNOWLEDGE In 1920, after a season-ending tie with Nebraska and urged on by coach Forrest (Phog) Allen (of hoops and Allen Fieldhouse renown), Kansas students, alumni, fans and faculty pledged more than $200,000 (about $1.8 million today) to build what would become Memorial Stadium.
