A high-energy reserve on the Huskies' conference-winning basketball team, the 6' 6" 258-pounder's ability to box out defenders has made him one of quarterback Keith Price's favorite targets. Seferian-Jenkins's 538 receiving yards last season were the second most ever for a Washington true freshman.

The 6' 1" 236-pounder started eight games and racked up 52 tackles—one of which hospitalized him and sidelined him for the next game—but his play was uneven. New coordinator Justin Wilcox moved him inside, where Timu was steady all spring. He could fill the leadership and toughness vacuum left by graduated middle linebacker Cort Dennison.
