Were it not for the NHL lockout, Bruins coach Claude Julien would have been in Philadelphia last Thursday for his team's opener against the Flyers. Instead he made a surprise visit to the Blue North girls' under-12 team in Andover, Mass. Julien, accompanied by Boston assistant coach Geoff Ward, led the girls' practice, gave a pep talk and signed autographs.
