Kelly, a 5'11" senior setter at Papillion LaVista-South High, had 32 assists to help the top-ranked Titans to their third straight Class A state championship, sweeping No. 2 seed Marian (Omaha) High 3--0. A three-time all-state selection, Kelly led her team to a 119--1 record during her four-year high school career and broke the program's single-season set-and-assist record with 808 this year. A member of the junior national team, she will compete next fall at Nebraska.

Notice, a senior defensive back at Framingham State, returned an interception 43 yards for a touchdown, blocked a punt for a safety and had three tackles in a 32--15 win for the U.S. Stars and Stripes, a collection of Division III players, over Mexico's CONADEIP All-Stars at Global Football's fourth annual Bowl of Stars in Guadalajara. He had 26 tackles, five picks and 10 pass break-ups this season to help the Rams win the New England Football Conference title and reach their first NCAA tournament.
NORTHFIELD, VT. > BASKETBALL
Weggler, a 5'10" freshman center at Bard College at Simon's Rock (Great Barrington, Mass.), played 80 straight minutes against Landmark College: a full game for the women's team and then another for the shorthanded men, leading both Llamas squads in scoring. She had 26 points in the women's 48--34 win and 18 in the men's 60--40 loss. Weggler, who averaged 27.3 points for the women this season, helped Northfield Middle High to Vermont's Div. III quarterfinals last year.
