VR_S COVERT HYBRID
Like the Covert drivers and fairway metals, the sole of this red-topped hybrid has been removed to create a perimeter-weighted design meant to increase forgiveness. The face angle and the loft can be adjusted on the Tour Covert model.
VR_S COVERT FAIRWAY METALS
Removing material from the sole's back-central area shifts more weight to the heel and toe, increasing the moment of inertia and forgiveness. A redesigned face has a varied thickness to increase ball speed. The Tour Covert has an adjustable hosel that can change the face angle and the loft.
VR_S COVERT DRIVERS
Under the red crown, Nike removed the back-middle section of the sole and pushed weight to the heel and toe areas to help the club resist twisting on off-center hits and produce straighter shots. A hotter face is designed to maintain ball speed on mishits, while an updated adjustable hosel can open, close or square the face angle at address. The loft can also be adjusted from 8.5° to 12.5°. The 460cc Performance version is designed to be forgiving; the 430cc Tour edition is more game enhancing.
VR_S COVERT IRONS
Designed for golfers who want distance and forgiveness, these irons have extreme perimeter weighting and a wide sole with a beveled leading edge to eliminate digging and fat shots. The three- through seven-irons are made from 450 Carpenter steel to maximize ball speed for added distance, while the short irons—eight through pitching wedge—are made from 17-4 stainless steel for a softer feel.
LUNAR CONTROL SHOE
Featuring full-grain waterproof leather and a series of tiny wires that extend from the mid-foot to the heel area, this shoe is designed to provide exceptional lateral support without adding weight.
