Briana, a 5'7½" senior guard at Troy High, scored a game-high 20 points and had seven rebounds and four steals in a 52--30 defeat of Brea Olinda High, the Warriors' first victory over their rivals in seven years. A McDonald's All-America nominee, Briana returned this year from a right ACL tear that caused her to miss last season. Averaging 13.5 points and 5.5 assists, she will play for Stanford next year.

Brooks, a senior at top-ranked Blair Academy (Blairstown, N.J.), won his 285-pound match 4--0 over Ralph Nichols to help the Bucs beat second-ranked St. Edward High (Lakewood, Ohio) 32--20. He also won the heavyweight titles at the prestigious Ironman, Beast of the East and Powerade tournaments this season. InterMat's national No. 2--ranked heavyweight, Brooks will wrestle for Illinois.

Geubelle, a senior at Kansas, won the long jump at the Armory Collegiate Invitational in New York City, breaking meet and school records with a leap of 21'11½". It was the farthest jump in the nation this season. Andrea, who was named to the Bowerman Award watch list, also has the country's second-best triple jump this year (45'7¾"). She placed third in that event in the Olympic trials.
