[ON THE DECLINE] An elder statesman, Moss was largely limited to third-down duty with Washington last season. He'll fill that same role in 2013. While that makes Moss a touchdown threat, it also makes him too inconsistent in terms of targets, receptions and yards to really trust in most fantasy formats. Moss is clearly past his prime, and the Redskins figure to focus on their younger options instead. Fantasy owners should do the same.

[ON THE DECLINE] It was telling when the receiver-needy Patriots didn't attempt to re-sign Lloyd this winter. And it's even more telling that Lloyd has played for, and been given up on by, six teams in his 10-year career. In the right situation Lloyd can be a productive fantasy reserve, but since it's traditionally been tough for Lloyd to find and keep the "right situation," fantasy owners can't view him as anything more than a late-round flier.
