Start Castillo, Pierre, Cabrera, Lowell, Delgado, and Lo Duca in all leagues. Those in deeper leagues may feel free to play Gonzalez and Encarnacion. Start Beckett, Burnett, and Willis for pitchers.

Key Matchup: 1B Jim Thome vs. SP Al Leiter: Thome has only hit .154 against Leiter in 26 AB, with 2 HR and 5 RBI.

? HOU - 3x @NYM, 3x @CIN: Tom Glavine may be the toughest pitcher the 'Stros face this week, meaning you should expect some great stats from your Houston hitters this week. Start Biggio and Bagwell in all leagues. Those who like to gamble can start Scott, Taveras, Everett and Ensberg. Start Oswalt, Clemens, Pettitte for pitchers.

Key Matchup: 2B/ OF Craig Biggio vs. SP Tom Glavine: These two have faced off 89 times in their careers, with Glavine getting the edge. Biggio has batted .225 with 2 HR and 7 RBI in his career against the veteran lefty.

? LAD - 2x SF, 3x SD: Despite having a short week, the Dodgers can take advantage of some shoddy pitching and make it worthwhile. Maybe, just maybe, J.D. Drew will get a hit this week. One can hope. Nonetheless, start Izturis, Drew, Kent, and Bradley in all leagues. Deeper leagues can gamble on Phillips, Valentin and Choi. Start Perez, Weaver and Lowe for pitchers.

Key Matchup: 1B/3B/SS Pedro Feliz vs. SP Odalis Perez: Though he has not had many AB vs. Odalis, Feliz has struggled against him (3 H in 17 AB).

? CIN - 2x @STL, 3x HOU: You know who is starting the season on a strong note? Joe Randa. It is still only Week 1, but Randa is currently the No. 1 player in Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball. That, of course, will likely change as the season goes on, but at least you get to tell your friends you owned the No. 1 player in all of fantasy for one week. There is a catch to this, though. The Reds will have to face high-quality pitching this week in the form of Houston and St. Louis. So start Jimenez, Kearns, Dunn, Griffey and Randa in all leagues. A good gamble this week is Ryan Freel as well. However, avoid any and all Reds hurlers.

Key Matchup: 1B Sean Casey vs. SP Roy Oswalt: Casey has struggled tremendously in his career against Roy-O. He's batted .189 with 1 HR and 6 RBI in his career against the Houston ace.

? NYM - 3x HOU, 3x FLA: The Mets finally won their first game on Sunday, and will look to change their luck this week. That will be very difficult for them, as they have to face Pettitte, Clemens, Beckett and Leiter all in the same week. Start Reyes, Matsui, Beltran, Piazza and Wright, but be very careful when playing Floyd, Mientkiewicz, and Diaz/Valent. Start Pedro without fear, but be careful when using any other Mets pitcher.
