? PHI - 3x @FLA, 3x ATL: I'm kinda annoyed that Charlie Manuel isn't playing my boy Chase Utley more, but that will hopefully change soon. That said, the Phillies have to face some tough pitching this week, plain and simple. Start Rollins, Abreu, Thome, Burrell, and Lieberthal, but be careful when you're using Lofton/Michaels, Polanco/Utley, and Bell. I don't recommend any Philly starters for this week.

Key Matchup: OF Pat Burrell vs. SP Josh Beckett: Burrell has struggled against Beckett in his career, batting .200 with 0 HR and 1 RBI is 25 AB with a 4/7 BB/K ratio.

? PIT - 3x @MIL**, 3x CHC: Pittsburgh has to go through some very tough pitching in order to succeed this week, as they face Doug Davis, Greg Maddux, and Kerry Wood. That said, start The Wilsons, Bay and Lawton. Be very cautious when starting any other Buc hitter. Start Ollie, but no other Pirates SP.

Key Matchup: C Benito Santiago vs. SP Greg Maddux: Surprisingly, Benito has gotten the better of Maddux in his 45-year career. Santiago has hit .289 with 6 HR and 17 RBI against the future Hall Of Famer.

? WAS - 3x @ATL, 3x ARI: Les Nationals have gotten off to a good start in Washington, but will have a tougher go of it this week. They face Tim Hudson, Javier Vazquez, and Brandon Webb, all of whom can be tough to hit. Start Wilkerson, Guillen, Vidro, Castilla. Start Guzman, Schneider and Johnson if you could use some minor offense. Throw Hernandez and Day for pitchers.

Key Matchup: 2B Jose Vidro vs. SP Shawn Estes: Vidro has had a ton of trouble against Estes in his eight-year career, batting .222 with 0 HR and 0 RBIs and one double against Estes. Advantage: Crappy D'back lefty. Yes, he is crappy.
