De La Hoya vs. PacquiaoThe Dream Match
 Manny Pacquiao (red gloves) was already a star in the Philippines. But on Dec. 6, he solidified his place among the biggest stars in the ring. The WBC lightweight champion destroyed Oscar De La Hoya in a fight many expected the Golden Boy to win. The eighth-round TKO victory bumped Pacquiao's record to a jaw-dropping 48-3-2 with 36 knockouts, while De La Hoya dropped to 39-6.
