With Jay Cutler being traded for Kyle Orton, the NFL has the rare situation of two quarterbacks who passed for at least 2,500 yards the previous season being swapped for one another. Including those two players, only 18 quarterbacks in the past 10 years have played in a new city after throwing for that many yards the previous season. Here's how they fared in the transition:
Pushed into the starting spot by Tom Brady's injury, Cassel threw for 3,693 yards and 21 touchdowns and led the Patriots to an 11-5 record. Traded to Kansas City after the season, Cassel will try his luck at turning around a club that finished 2-14 in 2008.
