There have been a lot of hits, and even more misses, over the past 10 years in the first rounds of the NFL drafts. Who's the best player to emerge at each pick? Let's get to it. (Drafts from 1999 and after considered.)

Manning's resume includes a Super Bowl title, a Pro Bowl appearance and a 42-29 record. More importantly, he has won over notoriously fickle New York area sports fans and, at 28, appears to be the Giants quarterback well into the next decade.
