HARRACHOV, Czech Republic (AP) -- Janne Ahonen of Finland added to his lead in the World Cup ski jump standings Sunday, beating Norway's Lasse Ottesen in difficult conditions on the 120-meter hill in Harrachov. Despite poor visibility and a heavy snowfall, Ahonen, sixth after the first round, leaped 123 meters on the second and won the event with 233.7 points. Ottesen finished second with 223.8 points after leaps of 120.5 and 115.5 meters. Jakub Suchacek of the Czech Republic, who was second after the first round with a leap of 122.5 meters, finished third with 221.6 points. Originally, the competition was to take place on the neighboring 180-meter hill. But the area was hit by strong winds and heavy snow on Friday which damaged the wind-break put up by organizers. The competition was rescheduled to the 120-meter hill but winds were till too strong Saturday and the race was called off. On Sunday, organizers opted again for the smaller hill due to strong winds.
