NOVE MESTO NA MORAVE, Czech Republic (AP) -- Norway won a cross-country World Cup 4x10 kilometer men's relay today in one hour, 46 minutes and 19.6 seconds.
Austria finished second, only 1.9 seconds behind.
Russia placed third in 1:47:09.2, followed by Italy and the Norwegian reserve.
Norway skied neck to neck with Austria throughout the race, but Thomas Alsgaard took a lead over Austria's Christian Hoffmann on the downhill, less than one kilometer before the finish.
Earlier in the day, Russia confirmed its long-standing domination in women's cross-country skiing, winning the 4x5 kilometer relay.
Russia's first team comfortably won the race in 58 minutes, 23.1 seconds, 38.6 seconds ahead of the Russian reserve.
It's the second time this season that Russia's women finished 1-2 in a World Cup relay.
Norway was third in 59:06.8, followed by Italy and Norway's reserve team.
Russia battled Norway on the first two legs, but Ljubov Egorova took a decisive lead on the third leg over Norway's Elin Nielssen, and Larissa Lazutina finished first with a big lead.
Norway couldn't keep the pace of Russia's reserve on the last leg and dropped to third overall.
