PREDAZZO, Italy (AP) -- Polish ski jumper Adam Malysz soared to his second win in two days and sixth World Cup victory of the season, taking the individual K120 event Saturday.

Malysz followed up his win in a K120 on Friday at this northern Italian resort with an encore performance 24 hours later, outdistancing Switzerland's Simon Ammann and Austria's Andreas Widhoelzl in an evening competition.

Malysz is dominating the World Cup season, having now captured six of nine events, with two second-place and a third-place result in the competitions he didn't win.

Amman, who was third Friday, came in second with a a 275.7 total. After finishing second in the first day here, Widhoelzl swapped places with Amman, taking third Saturday with a 260.1 total having finished second

Other top finishers included Finland's Matti Hautamaki (4th), Germany's Sven Hannawald (5th) and Austrian Martin Koch (6th).

Japan's Kazuyoshi Funaki, third in Villach, Austria earlier this month, was a disappointing 24th, with jumps of 117.5 and 112.5 meters and a total of 212.5 points.

With his second straight win, Malysz solidifies his standing as the favorite for the prestigious Four Hill tournament in Germany and Austria over the New Year period and the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
