King is the author of Sports Illustrated's "Inside the NFL" column and an analyst and reporter on CNN's NFL Preview. He came to SI as a staff writer in 1989 after spending nearly a decade as an award-winning newspaper journalist. Now a senior writer at SI, he is the magazine's primary NFL expert and is one of the country's premier pro football writers.
