NASCAR Winston Cup rookie Scott Pruett will join CNNSI.com users for a chat on Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. ET.

Pruett is coming off a season-best 10th-place finish Saturday in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. Pruett now looks forward to the second and final road course event of the season this weekend as the Winston Cup circuit visits Watkins Glen.

The Californian made the switch to Winston Cup after an extensive career in CART, when he won three times. His CART owner, Cal Wells, branched out into NASCAR for the 2000 season. The team will expand to a two-car operation for the 2001 season.
