Reactions: ACC Clemson on FSU's heelsLatest: Tuesday August 22, 2000 12:36 PM
CNNSI.com users were asked to share their predictions of what to expect in ACC football during the 2000 season. A sample of the responses we received follows: Florida State will obviously win the conference, but watch out for Maryland. Maryland should be very competitive and look for them to give Clemson and Virginia a run at the No. 2 spot in the ACC. And possibly a big bowl game for the first time in years.
Clemson will go undefeated, and Florida State will barely win over Florida.
UNC all the way. The biggest shock in NCAA football history!
FSU remains the class of the conference. Clemson is much improved from 1999, but unfortunately for Tiger fans, FSU has improved on their national championship team. Keep an eye on Maryland. LaMont Jordan is the real deal. But its defense needs to step up. Besides Clemson and FSU, no other ACC team should improve on last year. NC State made a huge mistake in releasing Mike O'Cain, as did UNC in retaining Carl Torbush.
Easy, Clemson will upset Florida State in Tallahasse.
FSU goes 13-0. Clemson loses to FSU and Ga. Tech losing to both FSU and Clemson.
Florida State will go undefeated again.
