Reactions: World Top 10 Rankings

Real Madrid maintains hold on top spot

Real Madrid remained No. 1 for the third consecutive week in the CNN/World Soccer Top 10 after another strong performance. We asked CNNSI.com users to comment on the new rankings. Here's a sample of the responses were received:

I think Galatasaray needs to be somewhere in the top five.
Fazil Onde, Ankara

Why isn't PSV in the top 10? They beat Manchester, 3-1. And they almost forced a draw at Old Trafford!
JD DJ, Paris

I am a Manchester United fan, but I think Real Madrid deserves to be where they are in the Top 10 because they are simply a class act.
M.N. Mwanza, Pretoria

I think the idea of ranking teams based on their latest performances is a great idea. I am sure that Real Madrid will always remain on top of the list because this is the place the greatest team in the world belongs.
Riyadh, Ihaab Saeb

I think AS Roma should be a little higher. I think they have a chance at winning the Serie A. With Gabriele "Batigol" Batistuta and Emerson, they're gonna be unstoppable.
Gutelio, Barcelona

I think Real Madrid deserves to be ranked No. 1. Juventus may be ranked too high. Barcelona and Roma should be replaced by AC Milan and Deportivo.
Stefano, Washington, D.C.

I can't believe that Arsenal made it so high in your ranking. I thought they played a terrible game against Aston Villa and Lazio. You might want to rethink that one.
Adam Colby, Atlanta

Manchester United deserves to be No. 1. They have shown consistency and have character.
Maxwell Phiri, Durban

I do not understand why you have to rank a team like Boca Juniors and you do not even consider teams such as Galatasaray. The Argentinian football is the most overrated and boring football on the face of the Earth. It is only a two-team league with Boca and River. When they have to face the world's best teams, they end up losing year after year. Take them off your list, please.
Alex, Foster City

I'm a bit surprised that no teams from Germany made it to the list, because I really think Germany is still a team to be reckoned with when it comes to football.
Benjan, Philippines

I think it is ridiculous to have Lazio in the Top 10, as the players repeatedly provoked Arsenal players with obscene racial remarks and throughout the match, some Lazio supporters jeered Arsenal's black players.
Frank Emid Wenga, Dar-es-Salaam

Thank God the Serie A season has kicked off. Now we can finally see Juventus in the Top 10!
Vivienne, Sydney
