Dwight Yorke Users question Manchester United's overtaking of the top spot. Ross Kinnaird /Allsport

Wins in the Champions League and Premier League allowed Manchester United to knock Real Madrid out of the No. 1 spot in the CNN/World Soccer Top 10 rankings. We asked CNNSI.com users for their thoughts on the new rankings, and suffice it to say that most of you don’t agree with them. Here’s a sample of the responses we received:

I can't believe that Manchester United is on top after falling to a club from the Belgian League. After qualifying for the second round of the Champions League with time to spare, Arsenal deserves Manchester United's top of the table crown!
Stephanie Fivey, Stirling

Okay, time for Manchester United to step down to No. 11. Real Madrid is the best and is getting better. I think Anderlecht needs to receive a place in the Top 10 after two very impressive wins in the Champions League.
Joe Dohmann, Harleysville, Pa.

I think Manchester United and Arsenal deserve to be in the top three. But Real Madrid doesn't deserve after losing to Barcelona two-nil.
Ahmed Nafie, Cairo, Egypt

I can't believe Manchester United is ranked No. 1, even after being outplayed for 90 minutes against Anderlecht (not a really a hard game!). And Roma? Why are they there at all? They aren't even in Champions League, which means that there is three Italian teams that are better then them (including Lazio, and where are they?)!
Confused, Sydney, Australia

Where are the teams from Brazil? The Brazilian championship is one of the most difficult ones in the world. The last time I so a Brazilian team in the Top 10 has to be at list a month and a half ago.
Carlos E. Gomes, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

I think it is great that Arsenal have moved up to third, they are playing the most attractive football of anybody in Europe, and their 14-match unbeaten run proves it.
James, Madison, Wis.

I don't think man united should be up top. They lost too many times in the Champions League. Big deal if the win in the English league, It's an easy league.
Raed, Sydney

I don't think Manchester United deserves to be that high up; they have been rather sluggish this season, especially in the Champions League.
Paul Angatia, Nairobi, Kenya

Honestly, Real Madrid is a much better team than Manchester United. So why is Real ranked lower?
Nando, Madrid

Manchester United will win the UEFA Cup this year despite their earlier results, which might not let them progress. Manchester United works best when they are under pressure.
Chetan Oshan, Dar Es Salaam

I'm amazed that a team who lost to a “lowly” Belgian team can end up as the trailblazers of this list. This is utterly ridiculous. Manchester United has performed well in England, but badly in Europe. It really doesn't deserve the "Numero Uno" spot.
Regina, Singapore

Manchester United obviously deserves the top spot, judging from the way they beat Leeds.
Agaba, Kampala
