React: Belle's career How will you remember the surly slugger?Updated: Thursday March 08, 2001 8:36 PM
Albert Belle put up monster numbers on the field but wasn't the most well-liked slugger off of it. Belle led the major leagues in RBIs (1,199) and total bases (3,207) from 1991 through 2000 while playing for the Indians, White Sox and Orioles. He didn't make many friends along the way, though, and now it appears his career is over. We'd like your comments on how you will remember the surly slugger. Enter your thoughts below and we'll post some of the most interesting responses in the coming days.
