Vincenzo Montellaand Vincenzo Montella Down but not out: Lazio keeper Vincenzo Montella hits the dirt as Roma's Vincenzo Montella dribbles past him. AP

CNN and World Soccer magazine release their votes each Monday for the Top 10 club football teams worldwide, and we want to know your opinion. The weekly feature has generated tremendous response. Below is a selection of some of the best from the last week. Check back next week to see the response to this week's Top 10.

River Plate is the best team all over the world.
-- Jose Luis Zunni, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Lazio is getting all the attention while Juventus is all the way at 10TH while Juventus are only three points behind them in the Serie A. Sure, Lazio have the Champions League but Juventus have the UEFA cup which they will win. So before you go and write the Top 10 have a bigger horizon then what you see.
-- Paolo, London, England

There's no doubt about the hottest team today its non-other then Barcelona who finally made it into the second round of the Champions League.
-- Matan Moser, Omer, Israel

Although Barca lost two consecutive games in league play, they should still be considered the best team in the world. Lazio is right behind them and the Italian club should be considered Barcelona's only legitimate threat in the Champions League. When will soccer fans around the world realize that Man. U. is NOT the team to beat -- Barcelona is No. 1!
-- Candido Caamano, West Hempstead

I think the ranking of the 10 for the week is going to change. Bercelona of Spain is likely going on top.
-- Ben, Dallas, Texas

Although i am a big River Plate fan and they deserve to be in the Top 10, I think that a rank of 5 is probably a little high. Also, if you include Boca Juniors, you also have to include San Lorenzo, which drew with Boca earlier in the year (they have yet to play River) and are also joint second in the local league. I expect to see them in next week's poll, especially as they beat Brazilian Champion Palmeiras in the first leg of the Mercosur Cup semifinal.
-- REA, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Real Madrid still at 7th position? A club which is at 8th place in its domestic league and already struggling in Champions and one which has just lost its coach surely can not claim a place amongst world's best clubs.
-- Kaveh Anooshiravani, Dubai

I think Barcelona supposed be in first place, because they are the best right now. They're gonna win this Champions League. This is my opinion!
-- Michael, Toronto

I don't think that two French teams should be in the top ten list as their league is certainly not as good as the ones in Italy, England or Spain. Moreover, their performances in Europe also have not been exceptional. Bordeaux finished second in its Champions League group and Lyon gave an uninspiring performance to progress to the next round in the UEFA Cup. Bayern Munich and Manchester United deserve their spots as they finally seem to be getting back to the form that took them to Champions League final last season. Juventus could be ranked higher since they have been playing well in Serie A and the UEFA Cup.
-- Ahmad Nasir, Magnolia, Ari.

Boca Juniors would surely be atop the poles if only they could face stiffer competition!
-- Adam Kees, Russellville

Probably some one is not watching the Brazilian National Championship. Better games, best players and best teams. European soccer is "crowded" of Brazilian players.... World, open your eyes!
-- Eddie Batista, San Diego, Calif.

After the millennium Newcastle United will be the best team in Europe, because you know what they say: "a New age requires a New way of thinking, a New way of playing and of course a whole New team." NEWCASTLE JUST DO IT!
-- Agha Taher, Stockholm, Sweden
